We are geared to rebuild any type of chopper box / forage box or bale box rather it be insurance claims or private work!

Insurance Claims:

After the chopper/forage box accident has been reported to the insurance company the next link in the chain is to contact Lumberland (608-375-5616). A meeting time/location will be setup with the insured and adjuster. We strive to be prompt in getting to the accident site within 48 hours. At this meeting our representative will assess the damage and do the following:

• Appraise the original value of the chopper box and running gear before the accident
  
• Determine if the unit is repairable
  
• Create a cost bid/listing of what will be done for complete repair
  
• Offer a salvage value if beyond repair

All of this is done at the site before unit is moved or set up. We prefer to be present and possibly assist when unit is set up. We have the equipment to upright and assist the recovery of the unit if it is in an inaccessible site. Our pickup and flatbed trailer are capable of hauling the unit to and from our repair shop. There are no surprises since all work is bid NOT estimated.

Private Work:

This process is much the same when compared with the insurance claim, but is directly between our representative and the farmer.

Anytime in life when you use something and it works for you it makes sense to keep using it. After time your chopper box / forage boxwill wear down and things will break. The old and only solution was to trade your box in on a new unit. This itself causes many issues:

• A substantial new financial obligation
• New learning curve to figure out operation
• Uncertainty to whether purchase will fit your needs
• Time to comparison shop for high price units

What Lumber Land LLC has done is to give you an option from the traditional "solution". We can rebuilt your unit so that it is like new for a fraction of the cost. This allows you to save time, money, frustration, and unneeded hassle associated with a new box purchase.
